Materials ans methods: criollo sheep wool hand dyed with colorfast aniline dyes (black) using an exhaustive method. Handwoven on a Zapotec style loom of the 16th century adapted from European styles. Woven using a 7 threads per inch reed. 
Design. 
This rug is a minimalist contemporary rugs based on a simple rectangular shape inspired by the adobe homes that our grand fathers still used not too long ago these days people use fired bricks and cement bricks to biuld their homes but the shapes are essentially the same. 
 
The purchasing of this rug helps Oscar who showed up today (November 18th) to our door because he needs the money to help his father get through the corona virus. His father serves in the village government concil so he has been more exposed because they council has been working to manage all the issues the village needs in order to function.
