This rug depicts venus as the eight pointed start and the Quincunce (five pointed cross) that is used to measure and track the sun's movements in the sky. Our ancestors used the moon, the sun and Venus' cycles to calibrate their calendars and noticed when they would align and come together this idea of alignment ans synchronicity is represented in this rug.
