Materials and methods: yute fiber hand dyed with Xiuhqulitl (indigofera sufroticosa). Handwoven on a Zapotec style loom of the 16th century adapted from European styles. Woven using a 7 threads per inch reed and a wool/rayon blen warp.

This pattern represents the ever journer of awareness of the universe that creates itself to know itself. The Diamond derives from the skin of the rattle snake and is used to represent the earth goddesses such as Coatlicue, Tonantzin, the one with a skirt of snakes.
