Our ancestors discovered that we are more than flesh and bones, they saw that we are made of a magnetic field just like the earth, they describe these as "fire balls" in our stories and legends. In his books as an apprentice of Nahual Don Juan, Carlos Castaneda describes these energy balls made of an almost infinite number of filaments of energy that allow us to preceive reality. I like to think of these ideas as a description of the electromagnetic field with each wave lenght allowing for a particular type of perception. This rug depicts these bundles of energy lines, the ancient nahuales discovered that we are born using a specific bundle of energy lines and that our awareness shifts when we dream or have strong emotional experiences. These energy lines are connected to other beings and places as we go on thrugh life.
