This rug tells the story of the return of Beæl guieæ, Quetzalcoatl, Kukulcan, the feather snake. Quetzalcoatl promised to return before the end of the fifth sun in 2079. We can see that the ancient teachings are resurfacing , the calendar is being used agan and the ancient texts are being translated for the descendants of the Nahuales, the wise people that lived in the classical period of Anawak. This rug starts with small patterns of the cycle of life of a warrior, someone who has taken the inner journey to discover their true face and true heart, facing their fears and anxieties and determined to go deep inside in search for their own answers; this curling symbol reminds us of the nature of water and the lessons water teaches us. There is four small diamonds in a diagonal that represent the four previous suns of creation and the four previous times Quetzalcoatl has passed on earth to remind us of a balanced way of life, the teachings of the Toltecayotl. It is said that the next avatar of Quetzalcoatl will emerge once the sacred book of the toltecs sees the light of day and is read out loud again.
