My Auntie Maria Mendoza Contreras and her son Justino Martinez Mendez have been pioneers in reviving the agave fiber weaving techniques in our community; they are true master weavers who have collected a number of awards state and nation wide. This is auntie Maria's latest creation that we entitled Vissions of the Plumed Serpent (Beal Guie'a).
